The Department of Children and Families

The Recovery Place is licensed as a day/night treatment facility by the Florida Department of Children and Families.

This license assures that treatment facilities meet rigid standards for addiction treatment programs, the education and type of staff that support them, the physical features of the facility, and many other areas that ensure that optimum care is being provided.

The Florida Department of Children and Families, and treatment centers licensed under them, take an active part in the pioneering statewide initiative to make sure that persons suffering from co-occurring disorders are provided with the specialized treatment that they need and deserve.

Coming in to The Recovery Place I did not know what to expect but the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I had individualized and group therapy that was very suitable and enjoyable. My clinician Mike was extremely helpful and helped me resolve family issues. Everything is back to the way it used to be before I started using. If you need help this is the hand to reach.
