John’s educational background includes a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University. He is also certified as a mental health professional by the state of Florida. Mr. Cates is a devoted leader who is enthusiastic, exuberant and committed to his recovery from drugs and alcohol. This passion is only matched by his desire to provide clients with the internal motivation to fight for and maintain their own sobriety. John has served in a wide variety of roles in the treatment industry working his way from a technician to a proven leader.
