Treatment Phases
The Recovery Place drug and alcohol treatment programs support the addicted individual’s ability to gradually decrease the intensity and level of care, while at the same time progressively increasing their levels of personal responsibility and self-sufficiency. This process is core to all of our treatment programs, and integral to all treatment phases.
Clients enter the treatment phases at the level that is most appropriate to their goals and rehabilitation needs. On the most structured level are the day/night residential and partial hospitalization programs. These treatment programs couple intensive therapy with a structured sober living housing environment.
Once a client has completed their individual treatment plan goals in our full day/night treatment programs, they are encouraged to continue their treatment at a less intensive level of care. The Recovery Place provides an intensive outpatient program to address this need. This program supports the client as they incrementally return to daily life and activities, while still being actively supported by their treatment team.
This “wrap around” extended support is unique to The Recovery Place, providing the most encompassing phase-based treatment center in Florida.
Another optional phase of treatment is participation in The Recovery Place Alumni Group that meets weekly. This group is dedicated to clients who have successfully completed the day/night drug addiction treatment program and intensive outpatient treatment. Primary focus in the Alumni group is supportive work on individual triggers, behaviors, and thought patterns that may derail recovery.
