Christian 12 Steps Rehab Treatment Program

The 12 Steps have been embraced to effectively treat alcohol and drug abuse in a structured format. The 12 Step method is based on Christian biblical teachings and has been successfully adopted by our Christian Addiction Program to effectively supplement traditional addiction treatment.

I had a great experience at The Recovery Place. I especially loved being in Charlotte Day's primary group, she is an amazing therapist who leads the Christian track. I definitely recommend doing the Christian track here; it is a great combination of working the steps and making God the center of recovery.

Led by Christian clinician Charlotte Day, our Christian Addiction Program goes through the 12 Step process while incorporating:

Bible study three nights a week
Local church visits
Participation in Christian groups, such as Celebrate Recovery

Each of the 12 Steps coincides with Bible scripture, allowing each individual struggling with addiction to take a step outside their addiction and reevaluate their life. Taking the recovery process step-by-step ensures that nothing will be missed in the process; meaning:

Each relationship will be mended building a strong support system throughout recovery
All of our shortcomings are touched upon, allowing us to grow as healthy and productive members of society
Life-skills are taught to seamlessly transition back into society without the use of alcohol or drugs

The Christian track at The Recovery Place was very beneficial to me. I feel this is what has been missing from my recovery. It helped me strengthen my relationship with God and I now feel ready to take on the next challenges in my journey of recovery.
