The idea of family has immensely changed over the years, from the standard parents and children to an over encompassing family unit including friends and loved ones. One thing that hasn’t changed is addiction is a family disease and everyone must recover together.

Alcohol and drug addiction affects every individual differently and it is imperative for everyone surrounding that individual to fully understand the addiction's unique effects. We place an important focus on not just treating the individual suffering from addiction, but also their family to help ensure a lifetime in addiction recovery.

Through years of experience, our clinical and support staff have seen that once a family is provided the proper addiction education and therapy, they can increase the quality of their own lives, as well as enhancing their loved one’s chance for long lasting addiction recovery.

Our treatment professionals make sure that there is engagement with the family throughout the entire addiction treatment process. This is done in a variety of ways: 

• Family incorporation throughout treatment including face-to-face therapy sessions
• If the family is unable to visit our drug rehab center we will ensure telephonic connection to close the gap
• We provide family programs that provide addiction education, relapse prevention tools, and answers to any questions the family may have
• We structure programs to empower families and provide both professional support, as well as interaction with other families experiencing similar issues
